See Crazy Doors Of The Latest EV

The Vanda Electrics’ Dendrobium produces around 200 mph. This is not the end, however.

The Dendrobium was created together with Williams Advanced Engineering. According to the brand, the vehicle can accelerate from 0-60 mph in only 2.7 seconds and push out 1,000 hp.

The hypercar was developed at Williams’ facility in Grove. It is a high-performance unit for Vanda Electrics. Therefore, it may even not head to production. In case it does, it will come out only around 2020.

The Dendrobium model has a striking styling, especially when its doors are opened. The door’s mechanism was inspired by a genus of orchids native to Singapore (the homeland of the Dendrobium).

The unit features a composite monocoque chassis, carbon ceramic brake discs, carbon fibber body panels and lightweight callipers placed inside 20-inch (front) and 21-inch) rear wheels. The wheels are wrapped in Michelin tyres. According to Vanda Electrics, the car should weigh 3,858 pounds.
