Paparazzi Caught 2019 Mustang Shelby GT500 Prototype

Here is a real, genuine mustang Shelby GT500 test mule. Paparazzi snapped the powerful pony car in the streets before its official presentation.

It is possible to see a more pronounced front fascia under the camouflage. The car received bigger vents, a more aggressive enclosure suitable for the high-performance Mustang to a T. Wheels lok quite aggressive. At the back there is an upgraded diffuser that helps the bodywork to cope with all the power.

The innovated GT500 from the producer will be stationed on the platform of the GT350. The identical 5.2-litre flat-plane crank eight-cylinder will equip the offering. However, now it will come as supercharged to deliver more than 700 hp.

A quick-shifting dual-clutch gearbox will be regular. A manual one will definitely remain an option. The 20-inch wheels will also carry over to the production unit. Expect also to see several styling teaks on the outside.

The innovated Shelby GT500 will be presented in 2018. We suppose this will happen at the Auto Show held in Detroit.
