Recall Of The 2014 Ford Transit Connect

Ford is going to make a recall for 887 units of 2014 Transit Connect in America.

The issue is with the panoramic sunroof. It can just fall out. The cars need the Panoramic Foxed-Glass Vista roof option as well.

Unfortunately there can be an inadequate connection between the glass and the sunroof panel. The reason lies in contaminated silicone and cleaner residue. Water leaks and wind noise are the results of the problem. The part can even fall out of the vehicle what may lead to a road hazard.

The problem was detected by the company after a complaint. 4 incidents were documented along with some leakage claims. According to the sources, there were no injured. ‘

The automaker will inform clients that dealers will take off, clean and reinstall the piece. This campaign should start on October 31.
