Meet the Sexy 2017 F-Type SVR from Jaguar
The next year’s F-Type SVR from Jaguar is the fastest production vehicle ever produced by the British company. It debuted at this year’s Motor Show in Geneva.
This version of the vehicle is equipped with the 5.0-litre supercharged eight-cylinder unit with more power (575 hp and torque of 516 pound-feet). An 8-speed gearbox transfers the power for all four wheels.
Moreover, the new variant is 55 pounds lighter than the R. Besides, the weight might be still lost with carbon fibber roof and carbon ceramic brakes. In such a way, the vehicle is able to accelerate 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds. The car’s top sped is 200 mph. The R sprints in 3.9 seconds and reaches top speed of 186 mph.
The bodywork was enhanced for downforce maximizing, grip increase and aerodynamics optimization. Larger air inlets and new hood vents will help the vehicle to stay cool. The model under consideration received lighter 20-inch alloys, a lightweight titanium exhaust set-up, an active fibber spoiler and an outstanding cabin.
The 2017 F-Type SVR from Jaguar is scheduled to come out this summer. It will cost starting from $129,795 together with destination for the convertible and $126,945 for the coupe in America.
