60 MPH in First Gear with Manual Transmission from Chevy Camaro ZL1
Chevrolet has given green light to the latest Camaro ZL1 will accelerate to 60 in 3.5 seconds. Moreover, it will be possible to do this without shifting gears!
The lead engineer revealed the news. Sometime earlier Chevy stated that the latest 10-speed automatic (optionally available on the considered model) shifts quicker than Porsche’s PDK dual-clutch gearbox. The producer from America revealed that the ten-speed’s wider 7.39 overall gear ratio increasing off-the-line performance along with an aggressive 1st gear ratio (which stands at 4.70).
The new Camaro model is equipped with a 6.2-litre supercharged eight-cylinder motor. It sports 650 hp. The unit will be marketed at the end of this year. The price will kick off starting from $62,135 together with destination.
