New Wheels and Brakes for 2016 Camaro from Chevrolet

Chevrolet has shown one more teaser for the Camaro of the next year. See the wheels and brakes of the model.

The automaker has released its latest teaser as a long campaign for the next-gen Camaro. The teaser presents the wheels featuring Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres and Brembo brakes. Moreover, it also assures that the team of engineers will spend 9 million hours of computational time while the offering will be developed. By the way, the structural stiffness was boosted by 28%.

Earlier released teasers show that the Camaro 6 will significantly lose its weight (more than 200 lbs or 90,7 kg) in comparison with the current offering. It is also known that 70% of all the vehicle’s components will be brand new. 20% of the details which were used for the 6.2-litre eight-cylinder engine are also new. They were replaced in order to match the more efficient packaging of the vehicle. As to the motor, it can boast tubular “tri-Y”-style exhaust manifolds. The model will be equipped with the Alpha platform. The vehicle will also receive aluminium front and rear suspension 21% lighter than the previous ones.

The automaker will reveal the 6-gen Camaro on May 16 at a special event in Belles Isle Park (Detroit).
