Design-Focused Innovations for 2016 Corvette

The Corvette will receive several new options for the next model year.

We are already aware of the Corvette C7.R Edition. Only 500 lucky clients will be able to become its happy owners in 2016. Now Chevrolet is improving the whole Corvette range with new colour variants, technology and design elements.

There will be two new colours for the Corvette: Long Beach Read Metallic and Racing Yellow Tintcoat. At the same time a new graphics package can be obtained. It leaves an area on the hood without any paint. In such a way, the carbon fibber weave underneath is being showed off. Every Stingray received regular wheels and the Z06 got a new Blade wheel styling option.

New styling kits which outfit the whole vehicle with a cohesive theme can be obtained now on 3LZ Corvette offerings. Such models are equipped with Magnetic Ride Control. By the way, now it can be obtained without ordering the whole Z51 performance set. The Spice Red set, the Twilight Blue design set or the Spice red package are available for all customers.

Speaking about the technology, we can't help mentioning a head-on parking camera which can equip the 2LZ and 3LZ trim vehicles. Besides, a power-cinching trunk or hatch cover has been added. It helps to ensure that the rear cargo hold is tightly closed.

Inside the cabin, the Stingray can boast new GT seats coloured in two tones and a new flat-bottom helm. Moreover, the customers can choose between yellow and red contrast stitching on 3LT offerings. As to the inside of the Z06, the latest Brownstone colour can be obtained on 3LZ offerings.
