Audi S3 Sedan from ABT beats RS3 with Impressive 400 PS
ABT Sportsline has renovated its upgrade project dedicated to the Audi S3 Sedan.
A lot of customers are satisfied with 300 hp (or 221 kW) in a small sedan, the Audi S3, for example. Though, there are clients who want a power increase. The tuner has empowered the 2.0-litre TFSI engine to crazy 400 hp (or 294 kW). Now this engine is stronger than the V5 RS3 Sportback that generates 367 hp. ABT was capable of providing 100 Nm (or 74 lb-ft) of torque more. So, the total torque output is 480 Nm (or 354 lb-ft).
The tuner did not reveal any information about the vehicle’s performances. It is rumoured to be seriously faster than the standard S3 Sedan. It needs 5.3 seconds in order to reach 62 mph (or 100 km/h). The model is equipped with the 6-speed manual gear box. When it is configured with the optional S tronic transmission, it needs only 4.9 seconds.
Moreover, the Audi S3 Sedan tuned by ABT benefits from a custom radiator enclosure and fender inserts. Meanwhile, a stainless steel deafener along with black hard-chromed end pipes is placed at the back part of the car. The vehicle can boast 18-inch to 20-inch alloy wheels, front and rear anti-roll bar set, floor rugs and integrated entrance lights.
