30 Minutes to charge 2017 Ford Focus Electric
Ford has revealed about investing $4.5 billion in electrified car solutions by 2020.
As you know, EVs have not influenced the sales of diesel and petrol cars. The automaker wants to change this situation by enlarging its range with 13 innovated EVs by 2020. The producer revealed that more than 40% of its worldwide range will start selling an electrified version earlier than in the end of the decade.
Everything will start next year when the company presents the innovated Focus Electric. The offering will be equipped with an innovated DC fast-charge set-up enabling the customers to recharge the batteries to 80% capacity in only half-an-hour. This short charging time will allow the car to travel up to 100 miles on electricity alone.
