2016 Subaru Forester will cost starting from $23,245

The automaker has announced pricing for the 2016 Subaru Forester.

The Japanese producer’s best-selling offering spawn its 4th generation in 2014. Therefore, no serious changes to the crossover for the next model year are expected. The most serious update is adding the new Subaru Starlink Safety and Security equipment. It will be applied on the Limited, Premium and Touring trims. The base offering 2016 Subaru Forester 2.5i will be equipped with a manual gear box. Its price will kick off from $23,245 together with destination. A CVT can be obtained for $1,000 more.

The better 2016 Subaru Forester Premium’s price will stand at $26,645. At the same time the Forester Touring CVT will cost $31,645.

If a customer chooses the 2.0-litre turbocharged V4 engine with 250 hp instead of the 2.5-litre one, the price will start from $30,045 for the Forester 2.0XT Premium CVT. The Forester 2.0XT Touring CVT is on the top of the range and its price will be $34,645.

Being equipped with a CVT, the regular 2.5-litre engine generates 170 hp and returns 24 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway.

Two Subaru Starlink packages will be possible to obtain on the 2016 Forester. They will be Starlink Safety Plus and Starlink Safety Plus & Security Plus. The first package will include Automatic Collision Notification, Diagnostic Alert, Maintenance Notifications, SOS Emergency Assistance, Monthly Vehicle Health Report and Enhanced Roadside Assistance.  As to the second package, it will provide Vehicle Security Alarm Notification, Remote Horn and Lights, Stolen Vehicle Recovery Service, Remote Lock/Unlock and Remote Vehicle Locator.
