2016 Spark from Chevrolet teased Before its Debut

Chevrolet has shown a teaser picture of the 2016 Spark set  which will debut on April 2nd.

The all-new vehicle has been snapshot undisguised nearly a month ago. It adopted an evolutionary styling in comparison with the current offering. The car will be based on the Opel Karl / Vauzhall Viva duo. Though, unlike them it will receive the rear door handles near the rear quarter pillars (mounted in the same way as in the current model).

Technical details were not informed yet, but expect something similar as in the model’s European brothers.Probably the car will receive power from a naturally aspirated 1.0-litre V3 engine generating  75 hp (or 55 kW). The Karl / Viva is 939 kg (or 2,070 lbs). It consumes just 4.3-litres / 100 km and is offerred only with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Also it has corresponding emissions of CO2 (99 g/km).

The car should be 3680 in length and have a 2385 wheelbase. At the same time the trunk capasity will be nearly 1,000 litres under the condition of folded seats. There will be several optional sets, such as park assist, heated front seats, heated helm, infotainment system and cruise control.

The 2016 Chevrolet Spark is going to be presented at the auto shows in New York and Seul.
