Skoda Shows the Innovated Superb and States the First Details About it

Skoda has shown teaser photos of camouflaged prototypes after the first set of spy photos with the innovated Superb which appeared yesterday.

The Superb is a vehicle of the third generation and is called “the best Skoda ever”. It will enlarge its size and will be slotted in the higher end of the automotive middle class. The Outgoing Superb hatchback is 4833 mm in length, 1817 mm in width and 1462 mm having large 595-litre trunk space. The automaker gave a promise that the car’s successor will be more spacious. Therefore, a room for the passengers and enhanced cargo capacity should be expected.

The automaker states that its nonesuch offering will output the best characteristics in comfort, connectivity and infotainment along with safety, performance, eco-being and consumption. It is already known that the Superb of 2015 will have a stretched MQB platform which is used for the Volkswagen Passat B8. It will also lose 75 kg (or 165 lbs), nevertheless it will be 200 mm longer and 50 mm broader.

The wheelbase of the vehicle is going to grow nearly to 80 mm. At the same time the trunk will be of625 litres with the back seats up to 1,760 litres while folding them down. Czech mass media states that the automaker will sell the model with adaptive dampers having price of €1,500 and featuring Sport, Normal and Comfort offerings.

The innovated Superb will be presented in the middle of January of the next year. It will arrive first at the Motor Show in Geneva in February. The delivers of the offering will begin in the middle of 2015.
