Skoda Fabia R5 Lightened before its Rally Debut in 2015

A few photos of Skoda R5 were shown by Skoda after an announcement in the end of 2013.

The Czech company is going to change its profitable Fabia S2000 by the Fabia R5. It will be a road-going variant of the supermini car disclosed at the Motor Show in Paris not long ago. The model was presented as a hatchback and as a wagon.

The prototype on these photos has a wider body along with flared safety rails, roofing, back wing, vented cowl, eduction pipe which is placed in the center and a transmission along with rally specificity wheels.

Skoda supposes that the innovated Fabia R5 will be completed to rally sometime in the middle of 2015.
