Minimal $41,245 for the Next Year's Audi TT

Audi has shared the content of the price tag of TT line-up successor featuring a starting sum of $41,245.

The sports car adopted the same platform as the other class representatives of Volkswagen group. Basic variant offered a turbo V4 with the displacement of 2.0 litres producing 230 hp, which is slightly more than the current figures. $8,000 extra present the great opportunity of purchasing the most powerful modification – TT-S featuring 80 hp more with 273 lb-ft of torque. Acceleration to 60 mph will take less than 6 seconds for such a car.

Price tags of other body types also became public. Buyers of standard TT Roadster convertible will have to pay $44,425 while the power-boosted model will demand $8,000 more. Prices for coupe offerings fluctuate around $49,000.

The next TT generation does not differ much from the previous one in terms of design but it can boast a sharper shape. Major modifications were applied to the interior layout: instead of the central console inherent to Audi one can see a display on the dash board.

Details of the timing of the American release have not been disclosed yet, but the model is sure to be presented in dealerships in 2015.
