Ford Recalls the 65K Fusions

Ford recalls nearly 65,000 Fusion sedans because of an issue with programming.

The key can remove from the ignition after turning off the vehicle for 30 minutes, independently from if the vehicle is in park or not. Some of the 2014 and 2015 Fusions are not in accordance with regulations because of this. They include rollaway prohibiting and theft protection.

There were no any accidents or injuries which happen because of the issue known to the company. Ford decided that the dealers will reprogram the car’s control panel free of charge and in such a way the problem will be corrected.
