Design Sketch Leaked Next Year’s Skoda Fabia
One can already see the way the next generation of the Czech brand’s model will look like during its soon release.
It is very likely that in reality there will be a blend of Octavia and Rapid. Some enthusiasts might not find it inspiring to see the same massive-scale style approach used for other models. Once the vehicles produced under the Czech badge were very differently looking in the traffic, but since Volkswagen took the throne as a parent company, it became clear that those original vehicles would be converted to unmistakable single corporate style ones.
Nevertheless, the platform will not be borrowed yet: customers of the hatchback will get a little modified and cheaper PQ25 option. On the other hand, powerplant department would bear almost total resemblance to the newest Polo. Demand for vRS seems not to satisfy the company bosses enough, so it will be axed. Five-door hatchbacks and wagons will rule the parade in this generation, but the appearance of saloon is also not ruled out, although Rapid feels pretty well in the occupied niche.
Online acquaintance with Skoda Fabia 2015 will be conducted in August, offline presentation is planned for October and sales debut – for December 2014 or first months of 2015.
