Chevy Volt of 2016 Showed its New Design in the Teaser

A teaser photo appeared on Twitter showing a strong hint at the outlook of the next-generation Volt of 2016.

We found out that the model has the same radiator enclosures as the Cadillac ELR. At the same time the headlamps and front dashboard look aggressive and angular. The Volt of 2016 is planned to be presented at the forthcoming Auto Show in Detroit next year.

There were no numbers disclosed, though the company has already stated that the innovated vehicle will gain a new 1.5-litre V4 in combination with an innovated Voltec extended range electric vehicle (EREV) propulsive system. After all, the automaker states that the Volt of 2016 will have two-motor drive and that it will have 5-12%  more efficiency than the circulating one. Moreover, it will weigh 100 lbs less.

This means that both overall and electric range will increase in the Chevy Volt of 2016.
