Allroad Shooting Brake from Audi Officially Announced

A concept car called Allroad Shooting Brake is a sports hybrid oriented more at output than at effective fuel consumption. But it main merit implies provision of the potential look of Audi TT, both in terms of interior and exterior.

The focus group of the model – young and active drivers – defines the intestines under the bonnet: turbocharged 2.0-litre V4 engine producing 292 hp and torque of 280 lb-ft. Audi’s motor invention found its application in the concept: e-tron technology is implemented in the vehicle with two electric motors increasing the powertrain by more than 100 hp and torque by 200 lb-ft. These figures are quite impressive in the context of 3,500-lbs car. The mark of 60 mph is reached in 4.5 seconds, and the maximum speed is 509 mph.

The carmaker states that the production model will last 31 miles solely on the electric engines and consume about 130 mpg according to standard European test drives. Allroad Shooting Brake Concept features the interior package presented in 2015 TT at Consumer Electronics Show, which strengthens the assumption about kinship of the concept with the next TT.
