2015 Ford Edge is Innovated, but One its Area Remained Old

The Ford Edge crossover will be fully restyled for the next year. It will gain a new architecture, engines and innovated characteristics, but there is one field which will not be changed.

The Edge of 2015 which is going to be on sale since spring will start at price of $28,995 with $895 of destination fees. This is just the same as the outgoing variant.

The Sport version, which stays on the top of the whole range, will be priced a little bit higher. Its window sticker will jump up near $500. The initial price for such high-end models is near 39 grand not including any special options added.

The innovated initial powertrain of the Edge is going to be a 2.0-litre EcoBoost V4. Though, it is possible to gain optionally a 3.5-litre six-cylinder powertrain. The Sport variant is characterized with a twin-turbo 2.7-litre powertrain working outstandingly good in the all-new F-150 pickup; therefore it will be able to make the Edge significantly quicker.

The Ford Edge of 2015 will be presented to the customers at the Auto Show in Los Angeles in a couple of weeks.
