Mercedes Supermini Reaches One-Millionth Sale
China and Germany are the most active markets for MPV.
B-segment model by Mercedes released in 2005 has crossed one-millionth point in selling.
The brands fans did not appreciate the new car much, but Chinese and German buyers are eager to become owners of MPV. Focus group researches show that superminis are mostly popular among family and active drivers (including senior citizens).
Approximately 30 percent of B-segment sales are made by diesel and petrol B180. Besides, almost a half of them feature infotainment pieces or navigation.
Sales and Marketing department of Mercedes reports that superminis embrace sports look, impressive powertrain and comfortable driving, which are essentially keys to their success.
