Chevrolet Volt Deliveries Reach 50,000 Model Milestone

GM has moved its 50,000th Chevrolet Volt model, reaching the milestone last month.

No formal or public report was made by the American company, but the Volt has delivered 50,240 models in its young history. Surely, the Volt experienced a boost in its sales this year thanks to a huge price cut of $5,000.

The Chevrolet Volt initially hit the market in December 2010 and sold 326 models that month. The following year, Chevy delivered 7,671 models while 2012 saw 23,461 units moved. Year-to-date 2013, Chevrolet has sold 18,782 Volts.
