Porsche Mission S Concept Blends Classic Heritage With Mid-Engine Proportions

Porsche has revealed the mid-engine Mission S concept, combining styling cues from the 911, GT1, 959, and the iconic 917's exposed cooling fan. Inside, the driver-focused two-seat cabin ditches a central touchscreen in favor of five circular gauges with an analog tachometer and physical buttons. Rumors point to a new twin-turbo flat-eight engine revving to 8,000 rpm and delivering around 850 hp for a 0-100 km/h sprint in 2.8 seconds.
