Next-Generation Nissan Frontier Could Feature Folding Bed Passthrough

Nissan is exploring a versatile midgate design for the upcoming Frontier that links the cargo bed directly with the passenger cabin. When the rear seats fold flat, the single-piece bulkhead drops down to form a continuous load floor for oversized gear. The next-generation truck is also slated to adopt a fresh platform and an electrified powertrain.
