New Tesla Roadster With 10 Cold-Gas Thrusters and Sub-Second 0-60 MPH

Tesla has equipped the new Roadster with ten cold-gas thrusters arranged around the body, enabling it to briefly lift off the ground, flip in mid-air, and climb 90-degree slopes. Depending on the trim—Performance, Thrust, or Rocket—the electric sports car accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in under 1.6 seconds, 0.9 seconds, or 0.59 seconds, with a 0.81-second run demonstrated during the presentation.
