Inside the 2028 Tesla Roadster Suction Fans and Cold-Gas Thrusters

The proposed 2028 Tesla Roadster combines a 1,341-hp rear-wheel-drive electric powertrain with four underbody suction fans and SpaceX cold-gas nitrogen thrusters operating at 10,000 psi. While the Thrust edition uses a 200-liter composite tank and four rear titanium nozzles to target a 0.8-second 0–60 mph sprint, the single-seat Rocket variant adds a 400-liter tank and downward thrusters capable of brief 7-second hovers.
