First Electric Mercedes-Benz E-Class Set to Replace the EQE With Classic Sedan Proportions

Mercedes-Benz is preparing its first electric E-Class sedan on a dedicated battery-electric platform developed from the ground up. Moving away from the rounded silhouette of the outgoing EQE, the newcomer adopts a traditional three-box profile and shares its styling with the upcoming facelifted combustion E-Class. A high-performance AMG derivative is also expected to join the lineup to take on the BMW i5 M60 and Audi S6 e-tron.
