Camouflaged Volkswagen ID. Tiguan EV prototype hits the road

Volkswagen has revealed its pre-production ID. Tiguan EV prototype, featuring a squarer exterior design and an extended body on the upgraded MEB+ platform. Powertrain choices will include rear-wheel drive or dual-motor 4Motion all-wheel drive, paired with 58-kWh or 77-kWh battery packs delivering up to 373 miles of range. The revamped interior restores physical steering wheel controls, conventional switches beneath a 15-inch display, and traditional pull door handles.
