2027 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 Enter Production With New V-8s

The next-generation 2027 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 have officially entered production with redesigned exteriors and completely overhauled cabins. Powertrain options feature an all-new sixth-generation small-block V-8 in 5.7-liter and 6.6-liter displacements alongside the returning 2.7-liter TurboMax inline-four and 3.0-liter Duramax turbodiesel inline-six. Both pickups also offer greater towing capability and expand the availability of the Super Cruise driver assistance system across the lineup.
