XPeng G3 I gallery (2018–2023)

XPeng G3 became the company's debut production vehicle, marking the brand's entry into the mass electric vehicle market in 2018. The model was built on a proprietary platform and was positioned as a high-tech, affordable crossover with a futuristic design, featuring a unique roof-mounted panoramic camera that resembled a periscope. The vehicle was equipped with a single electric motor on the front axle, providing moderate performance suitable for urban use, while the battery pack offered a range sufficient for comfortable daily commuting. The interior design followed a minimalist philosophy, with a large vertical touchscreen dominating the center console and controlling nearly all vehicle functions.

The technological capabilities of the G3 at the time included basic driver assistance systems and the ability for over-the-air (OTA) software updates, which became a hallmark of the brand for years to come. Although the model did not possess the advanced XNGP autonomous driving capabilities found in its successors, it established the foundation for the company's electronic architecture. In 2021, the model received an exterior refresh known as the G3i, which aligned its appearance with the brand's unified styling language, featuring a signature full-width LED light bar. The end of production in 2023 marked XPeng's transition to new modular platforms, leaving the G3 in history as a crucial first step toward becoming a global player in the electric vehicle industry.
