The second iteration of the Wuling Sunshine microvan debuted in 2010, introducing larger exterior dimensions, upgraded engines, and enhanced cabin comfort.
Introduced in 2010, the second generation of the microvan features a larger body shell engineered for increased structural rigidity and reduced aerodynamic drag. It maintains a rear-wheel-drive chassis layout supported by a durable rear leaf-spring suspension system designed for heavy payload capacity. Body variants include multi-passenger minivans alongside enclosed commercial panel vans. Under the engine cover sits a 1.2-liter S-TEC series four-cylinder petrol engine generating between 82 and 86 horsepower, compliant with Euro 4 and Euro 5 emission standards. Paired with a five-speed manual transmission, the powertrain provides solid low-end torque for urban delivery duties. The revised dashboard layout offers improved ergonomics, better noise insulation, and enhanced heating and ventilation controls. Convenience options grew to include manual air conditioning, power front windows, central locking, and power steering. The vehicle achieved strong domestic sales in China while expanding into markets in South America and Southeast Asia.
