Suzuki Vitara IV (LY) gallery (2015–present)

The fourth-generation Suzuki Vitara (LY) compact crossover has been manufactured since 2015.

Unveiled at the 2014 Paris Motor Show and entering production in early 2015, the fourth-generation Suzuki Vitara (LY platform) reimagined the nameplate as a modern subcompact B-segment crossover built on Suzuki's lightweight global platform shared with the S-Cross. Featuring unibody construction, dynamic two-tone paint options, and 185 mm of ground clearance, the LY introduced Suzuki's AllGrip Select multi-mode four-wheel-drive system featuring Auto, Sport, Snow, and Lock drive profiles.

Launch engine choices were a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated M16A gasoline engine (120 hp) and a 1.6-liter DDiS turbodiesel. The line added a 1.4-liter direct-injection K14C Boosterjet turbocharged engine (140 hp) for the Vitara S variant in late 2015. A mid-cycle update in 2018 refreshed the front grille with vertical chrome slats, added rear LED tail light graphics, and introduced a 1.0-liter Boosterjet engine. Electrified powertrains followed, including 48-volt SHVS mild-hybrid engines in 2020 and a 1.5-liter Full Hybrid drivetrain in 2022.
