Suzuki Verona I (V200) gallery (2003–2006)
The Suzuki Verona mid-size sedan (V200) was sold in North America from 2003 to 2006.
Sold in North America from 2003 to 2006, the Suzuki Verona (V200 platform) served as Suzuki's flagship mid-size sedan, rebadged from the GM Daewoo Magnus / Chevrolet Epica. Styled by Italdesign Giugiaro, the Verona offered smooth highway driving characteristics, a plush interior, and standard comfort equipment including automatic climate control.
A unique engineering aspect was its transversely mounted 2.5-liter inline-six XK6 engine producing 155 hp, mated exclusively to an Aisin 4-speed automatic transmission driving the front wheels. Import ended in 2006 due to low sales volume in the mid-size segment.
