The legendary Suzuki Cappuccino rear-wheel-drive kei roadster (EA11R) was produced from 1991 to 1998.
Produced from November 1991 to 1998, the Suzuki Cappuccino (chassis EA11R/EA21R) is an iconic two-seater rear-wheel-drive sports car engineered to Japanese kei-car regulations. Featuring a front-midship engine layout delivering 50:50 weight distribution, four-wheel double-wishbone suspension, and four-wheel disc brakes, its unique aluminum hardtop roof panels could be reconfigured into a coupe, targa, interior-stored t-top, or open roadster.
The EA11R was powered by a turbocharged 657 cc F6A DOHC 12-valve three-cylinder engine generating 64 hp. In 1995, the EA21R update introduced the lighter all-aluminum K6A engine, reducing overall curb weight to 700 kg while adding an optional 3-speed automatic alongside the standard 5-speed manual.
