Suzuki Across (2021)
Unveiled in July 2020 as Suzuki's flagship European model, the Suzuki Across (A50 series) is a mid-size plug-in hybrid crossover produced under the Toyota-Suzuki corporate collaboration. Based directly on the Toyota RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid, the Across features a unique front bumper design with slim LED headlights, a large hexagonal lower grille, and 19-inch alloy wheels. The cabin offers soft-touch surfaces, a 9-inch infotainment display, and a digital instrument cluster.
The Plug-in Hybrid powertrain combines a 2.5-liter A25A-FXS atmospheric gasoline engine (185 hp) with two electric motors (182 hp front, 54 hp rear) and an 18.1 kWh lithium-ion battery pack for a combined system output of 306 hp. Equipped with Toyota's E-Four electronic all-wheel-drive system, the Across delivers EV-only range up to 75 km.
