The first-generation SsangYong Tivoli, coded XK100, marked the brand's successful entry into the subcompact crossover segment following extensive development. It utilizes a versatile unibody platform featuring McPherson strut front suspension and either a torsion beam or multi-link rear setup depending on drivetrain configuration. Initial engine options comprised 1.6-litre petrol and diesel units, paired with 6-speed manual or Aisin automatic transmissions. A comprehensive facelift in 2019 introduced refreshed exterior styling, a heavily revised digitalized interior, and efficient new 1.2-litre and 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engines. An extended body variant emphasizing cargo capacity was marketed as the Tivoli XLV and later renamed Tivoli Grand. Production continues under the KG Mobility banner for global distribution.
