Skoda 440 440 (1955-1959) gallery (1955–1959)

The 440 model, known as Spartak, was the successor to the Tudor series and a precursor to the Octavia.

The 440 (and its 445 and 450 versions) was a significant step in Skoda's development after the Tudor model. It featured a 1950s-era modern sedan design and a proven technical base with a 1.1-liter engine (the 445 version had a 1.2-liter). This model served as a bridge, incorporating all of the brand's experience and paving the way for the legendary Octavia. The car was known for its high reliability and ease of maintenance.
