Oshan COS5° I gallery (2020–2022)

The Oshan COS5° is a subcompact crossover manufactured between 2020 and 2022 as an updated successor to the COS3°.

The Oshan COS5° (Kesai 5°) was launched in mid-2020 as a refreshed entry-level crossover replacing the earlier COS3°. Retaining the core platform of the Changan CS15, the COS5° adopted a bolder front fascia highlighted by a large trapezoidal grille and revised lighting assemblies. Overall length expanded slightly to 4180 mm while maintaining the 2520 mm wheelbase. Under the hood, an updated 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine producing 107 horsepower satisfied China 6 emissions standards, mated to either a 5-speed manual or a continuous variable transmission (CVT). Inside, the car featured a revised dashboard with a 7-inch infotainment unit and optional sunroof. The model remained in assembly until 2022. The Oshan vehicle portfolio served as a dynamic passenger vehicle arm for Changan Automobile, specifically engineered to cater to modern family needs and younger drivers. The COS5° model was developed with an emphasis on occupant comfort, structural durability, and the proven efficiency of Blue Whale powertrain components. It achieved notable commercial success by delivering a comprehensive package of standard features, refined driving dynamics, and low total cost of ownership. The vehicle structure utilizes high-strength steel reinforcements throughout key collision zones to enhance passenger safety. Interior ergonomics are carefully designed around modern lifestyle demands, offering intuitive touch displays, smart device connectivity, efficient climate management, and versatile cargo storage solutions for everyday use.
