NIO ES6 II gallery (2023–present)
The second-generation NIO ES6 crossover is built on the advanced NT 2.0 platform, featuring high-performance computing architecture, extended battery range, and sophisticated autonomous driving systems.
Introduced in 2023, the second-generation NIO ES6 is constructed on the modular NT 2.0 electric vehicle platform. Its five-door body combines high-strength steel and aluminum alloys, achieving a refined aerodynamic drag coefficient of 0.25. Drive is provided by a dual-motor electric all-wheel drive system incorporating a 204-horsepower front AC induction motor and a 286-horsepower rear permanent magnet synchronous motor, generating a combined total of 490 horsepower and 700 Newton-meters of torque. Power flows through single-speed reduction gearboxes to both axles. Energy options include 75 kWh and 100 kWh liquid-cooled battery packs as well as a 150 kWh semi-solid-state pack offering up to 930 kilometers of range on a single charge. The cabin features a minimalist aesthetic anchored by a 12.8-inch central AMOLED touchscreen, a digital instrument display, a 23-speaker Dolby Atmos sound system, zero-gravity front passenger seating, and the NOMI AI companion. The roofline integrates an Aquila sensor module with LiDAR and high-resolution cameras managed by the Adam supercomputer equipped with four NVIDIA DRIVE Orin X processors. It is sold in China and exported to European markets under the EL6 nameplate.
