Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross II gallery (2026–present)
The second generation of the compact crossover, transformed into a dedicated battery-electric vehicle built on the CMF-EV platform.
The second-generation Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross represents a total reinvention of the nameplate, turning it into a dedicated battery-electric crossover built on the CMF-EV (AmpR Medium) platform shared with the Renault Scenic E-Tech. Assembled in France, the model departs entirely from the petrol and PHEV setups of its predecessor to adopt an all-electric front-wheel-drive powertrain. The updated electric motor delivers 220 hp, paired with a choice of two battery packs: a new entry-level 67 kWh unit offering up to 472 km of WLTP range, and an extended-range 89 kWh pack providing up to 650 km on a single charge. Both versions feature fast DC charging capabilities, allowing a 15 to 80 percent charge in under half an hour.
