The second-generation Mercedes-AMG GT Coupe (C192) debuted in August 2023 during Monterey Car Week. Developed alongside the R232 SL roadster, the C192 is offered exclusively as a hardtop coupe. The new generation grew in length and width, introducing a practical 2+2 seating configuration option, an integrated rear liftback tailgate, and expanded cargo volume.

Unlike its rear-wheel-drive predecessor, the C192 comes standard with fully variable AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive and active rear-axle steering. Powertrains feature 4.0-liter biturbo V8 engines in the GT 55 (476 hp) and GT 63 (585 hp), a 2.0-liter four-cylinder in the GT 43 (421 hp), and the range-topping GT 63 S E Performance plug-in hybrid outputting 816 hp. Ride comfort and body control are managed by AMG Active Ride Control suspension with active hydraulic anti-roll stabilization.
