Maserati GranTurismo II (M189) photos

Debuting in late 2022 for the 2023 model year, the second-generation Maserati GranTurismo (chassis code M189) represents a complete clean-sheet redesign. It is built on a lightweight multi-material architecture comprising over 65% aluminum, magnesium, and high-strength steels, paired with a standard adaptive air suspension system. Departing from the previous naturally aspirated V8s, the internal combustion models utilize the Formula 1-derived 3.0-liter twin-turbo Nettuno V6 featuring pre-chamber twin-spark ignition. It delivers 490 hp in the Modena trim and 550 hp in the high-performance Trofeo, paired with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission and an advanced all-wheel-drive system with a front-axle disconnect feature. Simultaneously, Maserati introduced the groundbreaking Folgore battery-electric variant, engineered with an 800-volt architecture, a 92.5 kWh T-bone shaped battery pack, and three silicon-carbide electric motors delivering up to 761 hp (with an overboost capacity to 829 hp). Produced in Mirafiori, Turin, the second-generation GranTurismo is distributed across North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
