Maserati GranTurismo I (M145) gallery (2007–2019)

The first-generation Maserati GranTurismo (internal code M145) was unveiled at the 2007 Geneva Motor Show, featuring a striking exterior sculpted by Pininfarina. Built upon a shortened architecture derived from the fifth-generation Quattroporte, it utilized an all-aluminum double-wishbone suspension layout with near-perfect front-to-rear weight distribution (49/51). Power came exclusively from naturally aspirated Ferrari-Maserati crossplane V8 engines: initially a 4.2-liter unit with 405 hp, followed by a 4.7-liter derivative delivering between 440 hp and 460 hp in the S, Sport, and lightweight track-oriented MC Stradale variants. Transmission choices included a 6-speed ZF torque-converter automatic and a 6-speed Graziano electro-actuated sequential automated manual. Over its extended production run, the model received multiple evolutionary updates, culminating in a major 2017 facelift that introduced an Alfieri-inspired front grille, refined aerodynamics, and a modern touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone integration. Sold across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia, it became a cornerstone of modern Maserati heritage.
