The second-generation Lincoln Aviator is a premium three-row mid-size crossover featuring rear-wheel-drive architecture and plug-in hybrid options.
The second-generation Lincoln Aviator was introduced for the 2020 model year, marking the return of the nameplate on Ford's unibody CD6 rear-wheel-drive architecture. The vehicle features an elegant aviation-inspired design, a luxurious three-row cabin, adaptive Air Glide suspension with Road Preview, and advanced driver-assist systems. The standard powertrain is a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6 producing 400 horsepower, coupled with a 10-speed automatic transmission and available all-wheel drive. The Grand Touring trim introduced a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) variant combining the twin-turbo V6 with an electric motor for a total output of 494 horsepower. For the 2025 model year, the Aviator received a mid-cycle refresh with a redesigned front fascia, updated LED lighting signatures, and the new Lincoln Digital Experience infotainment system. The model is actively sold across North America, China, and Middle Eastern markets.
