The first-generation Lexus LM (AH30) luxury minivan debuted in 2019, offering 4-seat VIP and 7-seat layouts based on the Alphard platform.
The first-generation Lexus LM flagship minivan (chassis code AH30) premiered at the Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition in April 2019 for Asian markets. Standing for Luxury Mover, it was developed on the Toyota Alphard/Vellfire AH30 architecture, embellished with a massive chrome spindle grille, L-shaped LED lighting, and chrome side accents. The lineup offered a 7-seat configuration and an ultra-luxurious 4-seat VIP Executive Edition featuring a glass partition wall, 26-inch monitor, refrigerator, and power Ottoman massage seats.
Powertrain choices comprised the LM 300h self-charging hybrid combining a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with electric motors for 194 total horsepower via E-Four AWD, alongside the LM 350 powered by a 3.5-liter 2GR-FKS V6 generating 296 horsepower. The chassis utilized Swing Valve shock absorber technology to maximize rear passenger ride smoothness.
