The fourth-generation Lexus GS executive sports sedan (chassis code L10) premiered at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in August 2011 for the 2013 model year. It pioneered Lexus's modern corporate front fascia characterized by the spindle grille and L-shaped LED accent lights. Interior highlights featured an industry-leading 12.3-inch multimedia screen, Remote Touch controller, precision analog clock, and a 17-speaker Mark Levinson audio setup.

Powertrains encompassed the GS 250 (2.5-liter V6), GS 350 (3.5-liter V6 with 306 hp, available with RWD or AWD), and hybrid variants GS 300h and GS 450h. A comprehensive 2015 facelift introduced sharp full-LED headlamps, revised taillights, and introduced the 2.0-liter turbocharged GS 200t alongside the high-performance GS F powered by a 467-hp 5.0-liter V8. Production of the GS series concluded globally in August 2020.
