The fourth-generation Kia Rio (global code YB; CIS/China code FB) premiered at the Paris Motor Show in late 2016. Built on the GB platform, its wheelbase stretched to 2,580 mm, with the 5-door hatchback spanning 4,065 mm and the sedan extending to 4,385 mm. In CIS markets, the rugged Rio X-Line (later Rio X) cross-hatchback gained widespread acclaim for its 195 mm ground clearance and protective body armor. This generation of the Rio (YB) was produced from 2016 to 2023 and offered in седан, хэтчбек body styles.
