The third-generation Kia Rio (global code UB; CIS/China code QB) debuted at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2011. Built on the PB platform, its wheelbase stretched to 2,570 mm. Global markets received 3-door and 5-door hatchbacks alongside a sedan, whereas the CIS-spec QB version featured a raised ground clearance (160 mm), a redesigned front fascia, and a 130 mm longer body for local road conditions. This generation of the Rio (UB) was produced from 2011 to 2017 and offered in седан, хэтчбек body styles.
