The second-generation Kia Magentis (MG) was marketed in Europe from 2005 to 2010. Built on the NF platform shared with the Sonata V, its wheelbase measured 2,720 mm and length reached 4,735 mm. This generation of the Magentis (MG) was produced from 2005 to 2010 and offered in седан body styles. Built on an engineered platform, it features strong structural rigidity, refined aerodynamics, and advanced occupant safety engineering. The generous wheelbase and clever interior packaging ensure superior passenger accommodation and ergonomic comfort for long travel.

Powertrains included 2.0L (144 hp) and 2.7L V6 (188 hp) petrol engines, alongside a 2.0L CRDi diesel (140 hp). A 2008 redesign by Peter Schreyer added the Tiger Nose grille.
