Isuzu Trooper II (UBS) gallery (1991–2002)

The second generation Isuzu Trooper with the factory index UBS appeared in 1991, offering a larger body and modern engines.

The second generation Isuzu Trooper, under the factory index UBS, received significantly larger dimensions, a more streamlined design, and improved interior comfort. The vehicle was produced in three-door and five-door SUV body styles. The engine lineup was expanded with powerful 3.2-liter and 3.5-liter V6 gasoline units, as well as reliable 3.0-liter and 3.1-liter turbodiesels. They worked in tandem with a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission, and the four-wheel-drive system received advanced electronic modes. In 1998, the vehicle underwent a major facelift, changing the headlights, grille, and bumpers, while making the interior more modern. The car was sold worldwide under various names, including Acura SLX, Opel Monterey, and Honda Horizon, remaining a major player in the US, European, and Asian markets.
