Isuzu MU-X I (gen1) gallery (2013–2020)

The first-generation Isuzu MU-X debuted in late 2013 as a successor to the MU-7 / Alterra model. The SUV is built on a robust ladder-frame platform shared with the Isuzu D-Max pickup truck and offered a spacious five- to seven-seat cabin. At launch, the vehicle was powered by proven 2.5-liter and 3.0-liter turbo diesel engines paired with manual and automatic transmissions. In 2015-2016, the engine lineup was expanded with an efficient 1.9-liter Blue Power turbo diesel engine. In 2017, the model underwent a major restyling featuring updated exterior styling, full LED headlights, improved interior trim materials, and enhanced safety systems. The SUV was exported to markets in Southeast Asia, Australia, the Middle East, and Latin America, gaining a strong reputation for durability and rugged reliability.
